Three years ago, I stood at a crossroads in my life. Everything I had known was behind me, destroyed by my own mistakes and life’s unexpected turns. I felt like a failure, like my best years were wasted, like it was too late to start over. Have you ever felt that way?

I was reading my Bible through tears when my eyes fell on Isaiah 43:18-19: “Remember ye not the former things, neither consider the things of old. Behold, I will do a new thing; now it shall spring forth; shall ye not know it? I will even make a way in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert.”
